Art and play inspire prizes

Landscapes, wildlife, art history and architecture are among Kay Gibson’s greatest inspirations for her art.

The Margaret River artist has generously donated her piece entitled “Little Night Owl” for the top prize in the Vasse Primary School P&C Association – Vasse Art Award 2018 raffle. The painting features gouche and fumage on embossed paper and is valued at $2,650.

Typography, mid-twentieth century advertising and traditional sign writing are what spark Vaughan Ransley’s creativity with his acrylic masterpieces. Vaughan’s piece “Untitled” will be awarded to the lucky second prize winner and is valued at $1,200.

Third and fourth prize winners will get a big lift either way, with a top-of-the-line Vuly Play coil-free Lift Trampoline valued at $900 and a Yahava Koffee gift hamper valued at $150 on offer.

The 2018 raffle has something for everyone and the proceeds will ultimately help the Vasse Primary School and students to thrive. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $2 each from the following locations:
